A family run pizza restaurant has announced its closure.
The Hayman's Kitchen, run by Micky Hayman, in Walmer near Deal closed before Christmas so that Ms Hayman can look after her mother.
"I moved back home to Deal almost eight years ago when my mother Eileen started having difficulties which meant she could no longer live alone," she said.
"I opened the restaurant so that I could care for her in her own home and my two daughters joined me as the business grew.
"The restaurant did well, and was well supported by our lovely local community and surrounding villages.
"Eight years later, my mother's needs have increased, and I'm no longer able to open our home to the public, so I've closed the restaurant.
"I'm now focusing on my mother, whose needs are quite extensive."
'It's with a heavy heart that I have to let you know that The Hayman's Kitchen has served its last pizza...'
Ms Hayman says her and her family have had a really positive experience during their time at the restaurant, in Dover Road.
"I will say that we have had an overwhelmingly positive experience and have really loved making pizzas for our community who have been thoroughly supportive, and a lot of fun throughout the years," she said.
"It's been a privilege to have celebrated significant milestones in their lives.
"I'm grateful to everyone who came here and made it the little magical place it was.
"Will we be back? Who knows? Maybe in another guise."
Ms Hayman posted the announcement of the restaurant, which offered eat in and takeaway pizzas, closing on Facebook.
She wrote: "It's with a heavy heart that I have to let you know that The Hayman's Kitchen has served its last pizza in the restaurant.
"I would like to thank all my lovely customers who've come to us over the past seven and a half years.
"We've loved making pizzas for you all and being a part of your special celebrations. We've always been touched that you chose us for such significant moments."
