Jobs lost at ferry company
10:11, 12 February 2013
More than 40 jobs have been lost at P&O Ferries.
The company confirmed today that 26 IT and 16 catering staff had been made redundant. They were all based at the company's head office at Channel House in Dover.
It is the result of a business review which the company carried out last year, and followed formal consultations with the staff in the two departments.
