Hundreds of young people, friends and family of Josh Hibbert will be at Barham on Thursday to attend the funeral of the 17-year-old from Walmer.
The teenager died in a road crash off the Deal-Dover road at Swingate on Wednesday, October 12, and the service starts at the crematorium at 2.40pm.
His mother Emma Hibbert said: "Everybody who knew Josh is welcome to attend the service, and afterwards at the Betteshanger Bowling Club off Cavell Square."
The funeral director is E.B. Cavell of Albert Road, Deal. Family flowers only but donations can be made in Josh’s memory to Kent Air Ambulance.
Josh attended primary school in Deal at Warden House and afterwards at Walmer Science College where he studied for his GCSEs before leaving to go to Canterbury College. He had just started the second year of a plumbing course, following in the footsteps of his father Stephen Hibbert.
His family have described their son as "a popular and loving teenager with a huge personality", remembered for his striking auburn Afro-style hair and his charismatic smile.
