A lorry trailer has overturned on the A20 due to extreme weather conditions this afternoon.
The lorry was parked in a lay-by, not far from the Roundhill Tunnel when extreme gusts swept one of the lorry's trailers onto its side.
The trailer, which was empty, fell onto the bank, but it is feared that it could be swept in the opposite direction, obstructing traffic flow on the A20.
No one has been injured.
The lorry driver told the police that he will attempt to move the trailer once the winds have died down.
An eyewitness, Richard Law, has also seen three loose side curtains from lorries on the A20.
Mr Law said: "The winds are damaging trucks on the A20 near Dover. It's dangerous right now."
