A man has been arrested after a teenage girl suffered a broken leg in a suspected hit-and-run.
The incident happened on the A256 Eastry Bypass in Deal at about 11am on January 6.
A blue Ford Fiesta – in which the injured girl was a passenger – was involved in a collision with a grey Volkswagen Scirocco.
The driver of the VW had left the area before police arrived at the scene.
Officers later arrested a 19-year-old man after attending an address in Sandwich.
He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police are now appealing for witnesses, with a spokesman adding: “Anyone who saw the crash or anyone with dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage is urged to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/3331/24.”
