Firefighters rescued a man from a lift in Gateway flats.

A man was rescued from a broken lift in the Gateway flats, Dover.
Fire fighters were called out yesterday where a man, believed to be in his 60s was shut in the elevator.
A spokesman said: “He was slightly stressed due to claustrophobia."
When asked how long he had been trapped the victim was unsure.
Firefighters suspected he had been stuck for around half an hour.
The man was left unharmed.
