Man seriously injured after being ‘pushed down stairs’ in Diana Gardens, Deal

A thug pushed a food delivery worker down a flight of concrete steps with such force he suffered multiple injuries.
The victim, aged in his 60s, was dropping off a takeaway in Diana Gardens, Deal, on Saturday at about 7.20pm when the drama unfolded.
He was pushed down more than a dozen concrete steps, and was taken to a local hospital with multiple injuries to his head and back, police say.
Officers have arrested a man on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He has since been released on bail until May 11.
They are now appealing for witnesses, with a spokesman adding: “Detectives would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident outside the property or has CCTV or dashcam footage that could assist with the investigation.
