Man seriously injured in Dover flat

A 54-year-old man is in a serious condition in hospital after being found with injuries in a flat in Priory Road, Dover on Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the flat at 9.10am by the ambulance service whose staff took the man to the QEQM Hospital, Margate, to be treated for head injuries.
His condition is described as serious but stable.
House to house inquiries have been carried out in the area and officers are studying CCTV. It is believed that the person carrying out the assault may have been known to the man who was injured.
