A pensioner has been taken to hospital after apparently being run over by his own car.
Emergency services were called to Common Lane, River, at 10.10am today when the man, aged 70, was reported to be trapped beneath the vehicle.
Fire crews attended and had to lift the car off the man so that paramedics could attend to his injuries.
The Kent air ambulance landed in the playground at River Primary School and the man has now been flown to hospital.
His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
Emergency services were at the scene for more than an hour. Police are now investigating what happened.
