Man taken to hospital following a car accident on the A258 Deal to Dover Road

A man has been taken to hospital following a car accident on the A258 Deal to Dover Road.
A van with a trailer and a private car collided outside the Swingate Inn pub at 10.51am, today.
Firefighters from Deal were called to attend the collision believing a man was trapped in his vehicle.
Watch manager Paul Evans said: “We thought a man was trapped, but he wasn't.
"One man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“We stood by for safety and then left.”
Both pumps from Deal attended the road accident.
Police and Ambulance services were also in attendance.
All traffic is being diverted.
