Alan Brough, 63, to stand trial on attempted murder charge after alleged incident in Halliday Drive, Walmer

A 63-year-old Deal man facing an attempted murder charge will stand trial in November.
Alan Brough, of Halliday Drive, is accused of trying to kill a 67-year-old woman in the same road.
He appeared by video link from Elmley Prison before Judge Heather Norton at Canterbury Crown Court.
Brough, who was remanded in custody, has not yet entered a plea to the charge.
The woman suffered serious injuries during an altercation on Tuesday, May 9.
Judge Norton ordered that Brough's trial start on November 6 with a pre-trial review scheduled for October 6.
