Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries after crashing in Betteshanger field

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after his bike and a car were involved in a crash in a field.
The rider, aged in his 30s, was taken to a London hospital after the smash which happened in a meadow surrounded by Tilmanstone Bypass Road, Straight Mile, Willow Woods Road and Northbourne Lane in Betteshanger near Deal on Saturday, January 4.
The crash happened between 2pm and 3.30pm and involved a white Mitsubishi L200 and an off-road bike.
The motorcyclist is now said to be in a stable condition.
A 38-year-old man from Betteshanger was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released, pending further inquiries.
Investigating officers are now keen to hear from anyone with information on the incident that is yet to speak with them.
In particular, they would like to speak with anyone who may have privately held CCTV or mobile phone footage that captures either of the vehicles being driven in the field on the afternoon of January 4.
