Dover and Deal MP Gwyn Prosser has not been asked to repay any of his expenses, and says he does not expect he will receive any such request.
But he has been asked to clarify one of the claims he made three years ago.
Mr Prosser told the Mercury: "All MPs’ additional cost allowance claims for the last five years have been examined by Sir Thomas Legg’s audit team and he has now written to all claimants with his recommendations
"My letter from Sir Thomas makes no reference to expenses for gardening, cleaning or mortgage interest payments and there are no criticisms of extravagant or improper claims.
"He has asked for clarification on one claim of £650 for the supply and fitting of laminate flooring to three rooms made in 2006 and I have provided him with this.
"There has been no demand made for any repayments and I don’t anticipate any in the future. "
