Musicmakers are joining forces for a show against violence in support of Sainsbury's trolley man Shaun Turnbull.
Singers, songwriters and musicians from the Dover district will be performing Sing for Shaun at the Astor Community Theatre, Deal, on March 4.
The 46-year-old was the victim of a vicious attack on January 26 in Deal and is still recovering from his injuries.
For full details of the concert see the East Kent Mercury, February 23, which also features a photo and story of Shaun getting VIP treatment at a Deal Town FC game. He was given a surprise presentation of a signed, framed shirt.
Police are still appealing for witnesses to the attack by two men, which happened in Church Path near Bowling Green Lane, at about 7.2pm. No arrests have been made.
Mr Turnbull works at Sainsbury's supermarket in West Street, Deal, which was inundated with donations and kind messages after he was beaten about the head by the mystery men, who demanded money.
