A trio of pubs are joining hands to host a one day music festival in aid of Martha Trust.
The Kings Head, Dunkerleys and The Port Arms will host Martha4Music on The Square on Sunday, August 4 from noon to 6pm.
The Mayor of Deal Cllr Eileen Rowbotham will be officially opening the event and entertainment will be provided by singer Shannon Faulkner and local bands PLAY, Your Shout and new for this year The Martellos.
There will also be dancing by Dean Academy of Performing Arts.
Alan Faulkner from Blue Lemon Entertainments will be the compere and auctioneer for the day.
There will also be a raffle plus a chance to win a wheelbarrow of booze.
Fundraising and events officer Kerry Banks said: “We are incredibly grateful to the three organisations for their ongoing support of Martha Trust.
"The monies raised at these events make a huge difference in the lives of our residents with profound disabilities.
"It is a free event and inclusive event so come along and enjoy the day with us!”
This event is just one of several that Martha Trust run in order to raise money to change the lives of those with severe disabilities at their care homes in Deal and Hastings.
Donations of auction and raffle prizes along with bottles or cans for the wheelbarrow of booze are welcome.
If you can assist, please contact fundraising@marthatrust.org.uk or call 01304 610448.
