Hole in the Roof in Deal to undergo £400,000 transformation to become Queen Street Tap
18:00, 24 July 2017
Queen Street Tap will be the new name of the Hole in the Roof in Deal.
Stonegate Pub Company, who previously denied taking over the pub and music venue as a Slug and Lettuce or Yates’, have announced today that they will be moving in.
However they will be taking a more independent approach giving it a unique name with a focus on craft beers, cocktails and street food.
The pub chain has pledged to fork out £400,000 on renovating the building and create 25 new jobs.
Previous staff will also return as part of the deal.
