Deal: Pedestrian injured in late-night hit-and-run in Mill Hill

A pedestrian suffered a cut to his head and bruised ribs following a hit-and-run in Deal.

Police are investigating after the man reported being struck by a car just before midnight in Mill Hill.

He said he was crossing the road when he was hit by the vehicle which failed to stop.

The victim was treated by paramedics but did not require a hospital visit.

Police spokesman Jon Green says there are currently no details about the car or its occupants.
