It wasn't a road-hog that was causing problems for motorists at Dover yesterday - it was a pig.
Police received a report at 3.20pm that a "big black pot-bellied" pig was walking in the road at Whitfield Hill, on the outskirts of the town, resulting in disruption to traffic using the busy road.
But before officers arrived, members of the public managed to direct the pig to go into a nearby field, and the farmer was notified.
