Michael Frayn's Noises Off is the next show by St Margaret's Players at St Margaret's Village Hall, Reach Road

The curtain rises this Thursday on another laugh a minute production by St Margaret’s Players, called Noises Off.

The timeless comedy written by Michael Frayn has been dubbed one of the funniest comedies ever written, and to pull it off, the Players are working from a two-storey set.

Spokeswoman Madine Lawson, said: “We have an amazing cast of talented comic actors who will take you out of yourselves on the night.”

Noises off is a play within a play, with the actors having to learn two lots of lines and perfect their comedy timing.

Mrs Lawson added: “It’s full of lots of truly farcical situations to enable the characters to get themselves in a right mess...doors, boxes, sardines, whisky, axes and underwear. What more could you need? A ticket of course!”

Noises Off is performed from St Margaret’s Village Hall, Reach Road, St Margaret’s, with shows at 7.30pm from Thursday, October 16, to Saturday, October 18.
