Police appeal for help

Police officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision between an elderly man and a security vehicle in Victoria Road, Deal.
The elderly man was taken to London hospital by air ambulance, which landed on the nearby beach. It is believed the man had serious head injuries and is in a critical condition.
The roads remain closed for about four hours while the Serious Crash Investigation Unit (SCIU) attended.
Witnesses are asked to contact the SCIU on 01622 798538. The incident took place just before midday on Friday.
