Police investigating an incident in Pencester Road, Dover in which a cyclist became abusive and violent and assaulted an 80-year-old woman have released an e-fit picture of a man they want to trace.
The incident happened between 10.30 and 11am on Wednesday November 11 when the cyclist was challenged by members of the public for riding on the pavement.
It is alleged the man rode into an elderly pedestrian and then started arguing with others and pushed an 80-year-old woman who would have fallen to the ground but luckily there was a bin behind her.
The offender is described as a white man aged 20 to 25, 5ft 9in tall with straight dark brown hair who spoke with a Liverpool or Newcastle accent. He was unshaven and wearing a white hooded top under a dark coat
Anyone who recognises the man or has any information is asked to contact PC Christine Arundell on 01304 240055.
