Police investigate late-night robbery

A gang of teenagers are blamed for assaulting a man in his 50s near Dover Priory Railway Station and stealing his laptop.
The police received reports of the robbery in the alleyway between the station and Priory Hill at 10.30pm yesterday, Saturday.
A spokesman for Kent Police said it was believed the group of men and women, thought to be in their late teens, were responsible.
The victim, who has not been named, was taken to the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate, and was treated for head injuries.
The police spokesman added: “Investigations are on going.”
