P&O’s Pride of Kent has undergone repairs to one of its steering pumps.
A curious resident got in touch with the Mercury reporting the fact that the vessel was docked next to Admirality Pier.
Spokesman for P&O, Brian Rees, said: “When we need to carry out repairs we get the ships off their usual berths so they’re not blocking them for other ferries.
“So we moved the Kent over to the Admiralty Pier in the night while we repair one of the steering pumps to one of the rudders.”
