Bird enthusiast Colin Ashby had a surprise visit from a feathered friend - who he is trying to reunite with its owner.
This red factor canary was found in the conservatory of his home in Bridgeside, Deal, yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
Mr Ashby, a new resident of the street, does not know who it could belong to.
But the former breeder of budgies and canaries confirmed it is healthy with no injuries and he is looking after it in a cage.
He is appealing for the owner to come forward.
It has a purple plastic ring around its right leg and a small ball on the back of its neck.
The sex has not been determined.
If you know who the lost bird may belong to, contact Colin Ashby on 01304 363463.
