A road will be closed for the next week after a lorry smashed into a railway bridge near Deal.
Engineers are assessing the damage after the crash in Sutton Lane, Ringwould, near Deal.
Trains are likely to be disrupted for the rest of the day, with services diverted via Canterbury West.
Rail replacement bus services are running between Dover Priory and Ramsgate.
Kent Highways says the road will be closed for seven days while repairs are carried out.
A police spokesman said: "Officers were called at 10.30am after a lorry collided with a railway bridge in Sutton Lane, Ringwould, which has caused some damage.
"The road is currently closed while engineers assess the damage.
"No one was injured."
