The A2 at Shepherdswell was closed for more than six hours after the fatal crash
A road is due to be closed tonight... weeks after a schoolboy was killed when a taxi he was in hit a digger on the A2.
Officers from the police's serious collision investigation unit will shut the section of the dual carriageway between the Whitfield roundabout and the Lydden crossroads from 10.15pm to 11pm.
It comes after rugby-mad Steven Perry, of The Avenue, Gravesend, was killed when the Skoda Octavia taxi he was in crashed near Sheperdshwell at around 12.45am on March 15.
The 13-year-old played for a youth team at the Walmer-based Deal and Betteshanger Rugby Club.
The taxi driver - a 47-year-old man - was arrested on suspicion of causing the boy's death by dangerous driving. He has now been released on police bail until June 26.
