Warden House Primary School will not host its annual fireworks display for the second consecutive year.
The decision not to run the popular Deal event has been made by the Parent Teacher and Friends Association.
Graham Chisnell, executive headteacher, said: "Due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, our PTfA have elected not to run the firework display this year."
He shared hope that the community tradition, which has run for more than 25 years, will return next autumn.
Other Guy Fawkes events are scheduled to make a welcome return to Kent this November.
