Sandwich celebrate as Canterbury opener Luke Samarasinghe is caught behind by keeper Gavin Lawrence
Sandwich Town produced a fine bowling display to help earn a five-wicket win over Canterbury and keep pace with the leaders in Shepherd Kent League Division 1.
The visitors were in early trouble at 16-3 but recovered to 123-5 only to lose their last five wickets for 26 runs, with Matthew van Poppel taking 3-32 off 14 overs and Craig Spanton 2-18.
Robert Goatham cracked 49 not out as the home side reached their target for the loss of five wickets to claim their second successive win.
