A woman from Deal has been killed in a smash on the M20.
Hundreds of tributes have been made to Robien Sian Winchester, 37, on social networking site Facebook by friends who remember a "beautiful girl inside and out".
One of her friends, Mercury reporter Beth Robson, said: "Robien touched the hearts of many people.
"She had a wonderful quirky sense of humour and a beautiful smile."
She leaves a son, Reis, 13.
Miss Winchester was hit by a van on the London-bound carriageway of the motorway close to Junction 10 at Ashford.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened at 8.23pm on Sunday, March 6.
Police spokeswoman Rosy Alexander said: "Officers think she was trying to cross the road."
She said a formal identification had not yet taken place. The family has been informed of the tragedy, while further DNA tests are carried out.
A memorial page has been set up on Facebook, called: In Loving memory of Robien Winchester.
Melissa Pitt-Williams wrote: "She was beautiful inside and out."
Ch Insp Darren Mullins, from Kent Police, said: "Investigations are continuing as to the circumstances of the collision and we ask anyone who was driving along the M20 and who may have information to contact us."
