and watch them start their trip.

A team of soldiers from the Princess of Wales
Royal Regiment set off on the first of five days of cycle
rides from Dover Castle on Monday morning raising money for the
Army Benevolent Fund.

The 30 soldiers, who all serve with the 1st
Battalion of the Kent-based regiment, will be cycling up to 90
miles a day through Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Hamphire, ending up in
Portsmouth.

It's all part of their home-coming from
Germany and heralds a series of parades in the south of
England.

The cyclists left Dover Castle through
Constable's Gate for the ride through the town to the A2 to head
off towards Canterbury and the Medway towns.
