12:00, 06 November 2013
Police are today searching for seven suspected illegal immigrants who are on the run in Dover.
Another 10 are understood to have been detained after a group of men were seen running from a lorry at the Western Docks this morning.
The alarm was raised and dock workers and Port of Dover police officers gave chase.
Kent Police and Border Force staff are involved in the on-going search for the men who were seen heading towards Dover's Western Heights.
The men got out of a lorry which was parked at the docks.
The 10 who were caught are now being interviewed by Border Force officers and the investigation is continuing.
