A Dover woman gave birth to a bouncing baby boy shortly after the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her bouncing baby boy. Leon Mason was born at 4.37pm in the Folkestone Ward of William Harvey Hospital, Ashford on Monday – just 13 minutes after the heir to the throne.

A Dover woman who proves it is never too late to help improve the area you live in has been given an award. Barbara Hutton, 78, won the Excellent Tenant award for her amazing contribution to her community at the Kent Housing Groups’ Excellence Awards.
