Dover went back to the top of Blue Square South with a 2-0 win at Thurrock on Tuesday night.
Goals in each half from Adam Birchall and Frannie Collin (pictured) at Ship Lane secured the points.
Birchall, who was returning to the starting line-up after injury, put Dover ahead after just 11 minutes, lobbing the ball over Thurrock keeper Joe Woolley following a Shaun Welford flick.
But little more than 10 minutes later, Birchall limped off, to be replaced by Jerahl Hughes.
Whites keeper Lee Hook had to claw away Leon Lalite’s deflected shot before blocking an effort from Paul Olima but the half ended with Dover on top again as Olly Schulz hit the woodwork.
It was Collin who secured the points in the final minute of normal time, curling the ball into the bottom corner.
