A party to raise £1,000 for Kelly Turner will see duo Mixed Emotions in the spotlight on Friday night.
Tickets are still available for the bash, organised by The Mercury and Run Ashore Roving Diners Club, at the Court Yard Oyster Bar and Restaurant in Sondes Road.
Kelly has a rare and aggressive tumour and has been given 18 months to live. She needs to raise £1 million for life-saving surgery in America.
The 16-year-old, who attends St Edmund’s Catholic School, will be attending with parents Martin and Linda if she is well enough.
Run Ashore founder Jonathan Bowles said: “We are so pleased to be able to do something to help Kelly.
“We really hope to get as many tickets sold as we can to make it a great night. It’s not too late to get your tickets, just email us or call in at The Court Yard.
“Anyone who wants to come in on the night will be permitted too. Don’t forget your dancing shoes.”
Lots of businesses have pledged their support with some amazing raffle prizes on offer.
Among the donations are tickets to shows, there are ferry crossings from P&O and DFDS, vouchers from Shepherd Neame, entry to Port Lympe and Howletts, an annual pass to Dover Castle, and a £100 shopping spree at Bouverie Place shopping centre in Folkestone.
There will also be a £20 beauty voucher and free spray tan from The Sunhouse in Deal, a bottle of prosecco from the Bohemian and books from WH Smith.
The Mercury’s news editor Beth Robson said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of local businesses, especially those who are repeatedly asked to donate prizes for good causes.
“It shows the overwhelming support for Kelly, which we’ve seen so much of in Dover, is filtering through to those in Deal.
“If people support our party as much as businesses have supported the raffle, it’ll be a great night.”
Tickets are £20 with profits going to the #DoingItForKelly campaign and 100% of the raffle profits.
There will be an around-the-world-themed canapes flowing throughout the evening.
You can get your ticket from The Court Yard Oyster Bar and Restaurant, Sondes Road, Deal or by clicking here and emailing: admin@runashore.co.uk or call the mercury newsroom on 01304 365526.
