A collision on the A258 at 8.30am has caused two people to be taken to hospital and traffic chaos

Traffic built up along the A258, Dover Deal Road this morning for more than an hour.
This followed a collision between a blue Mercedes and what is believed to be a grey sports car.
Motorists travelling in both directions were grounded to a halt while the scene was monitored by police and ambulance services.
Police spokesman, Jon Green, said: "Kent Police was called at 8.30am.
"Two cars involved in collision on the A258 near the turning for St Margarets.
"[There were] two casualties – a female with whiplash and an elderly man with back injury."
The scene is currently in the process of being cleared, but delays are to be expected.
