A man who collapsed outside a nightclub and later died has been named as 25-year-old Michael Bowes, of King Street, Margate.
Three nightclub door staff have been released on bail by police investigating the death of the man.
The men, aged 25, 38 and 44 were arrested in connection with the incident but were bailed yesterday lunchtime, until Tuesday, November 12.
Floral tributes have been left outside Rivals Nightclub in Deal where Mr Bowes collapsed first thing on Sunday morning.
On a touching note attached to a bunch of flowers, he was described by a lady called Elaine, as having a “heart of gold.”
It is understood he was outside the club but had attempted to regain entry before he collapsed outside the building just after midnight.
Police had been called to attend the disturbance, but the man lost consciousness while they waited for officers to arrive.
He was taken by ambulance to the QEQM Hospital in Margate but died in hospital.
Management at Rivals had hired out the venue to the promoters of an event called Breakology.
The promoters of the event had hired extra door staff from an independent security firm.
In a statement, a spokeswoman from the club said: “Staff at FS Leisure Ltd offer their sincere condolences to the family and friends of the young man who collapsed outside Rivals Nightclub in Deal in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“He later died in QEQM hospital, Margate.
“We are cooperating fully with police inquiries to determine exactly what happened.”
