Trio of teenagers in court after assaults

Three teenagers have appeared before magistrates in Dover charged in connection with a series of assaults in the town.
Police officers were called at 10.30pm on Saturday to reports of a robbery in the alleyway between Dover Priory train station and Priory Hill, when a man was assaulted.
That incident was quickly followed by another emergency call at just after 10.50pm after it was reported a taxi driver had been assaulted and cash and satellite navigation allegedly stolen.
Shortly afterwards, at about 11.05pm, a man was reported to have been assaulted in Tower Hamlets Road.
Jordan Wills, 18, of no fixed address, was charged with two counts of robbery, assault , vehicle interference and escape from lawful custody. Magistrates on Monday remanded him in custody and he will appear at Canterbury Crown Court on September 16.
A 17 year old girl from Hawkinge, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with robbery, while a 17 year old boy from Dover, who also cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with two counts of robbery, criminal damage, ABH and vehicle interference. They were given bail by magistrates and will appear at Canterbury Crown Court on September 16.
