Children from St Faith’s at Ash took a trip back in time for a Roman Festival at Dover Museum.
They were among more than 750 pupils from 15 different schools who had a chance to dress up in robes and togas, have their faces made up and hair styled.
Andy Steele, press officer at the district council, said: "The festival also included a drama workshop and the opportunity to make a Roman style miniature shield.
"There were also talks and artefacts handling sessions and the chance to explore Dover Museum."
