The trial of two men accused of plotting to murder Kent soul singer Joss Stone has started today.
Kevin Liverpool, 35, and 32-year-old Junior Bradshaw are accused of targeting the Dover-born star at her home.
The pair, both of St Stephen's Close, Manchester, are also charged with conspiracy to rob and commit GBH.
They deny the charges, which came after an incident at Miss Stone's home in Devon in June 2011.
Their trial began at Exeter Crown Court today.
Miss Stone (pictured right) was born at the Buckland Hospital, in Dover, lived in Albert Road and went to St Mary's Primary School in the town.
She became a household name a decade ago with songs Fell In Love With A Boy and Super Duper Love.
