Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after Deal and Dover fire crews attended the collision on the A258 yesterday.
The incident between two vehicles, a small car and a people carrier, happened on Station Road, at the turn-off towards St Margaret's.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: "One car was coming from Deal and one was turning right into St Margaret's. It was a slow speed impact.
"There was one driver in one vehicle and five people in the other."
The driver, a male in his forties was removed from the car by ambulance and fire crews and taken to hospital with back and neck injuries.
A passenger from the other vehicle, a female in her twenties was also taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
Fire crews were on the scene for around an hour, making sure the road was safe and assisting the ambulance.
Speaking at the time, passer-by Cate Benjamin said: "The driver was helped out by the fire brigade.
"I hope no ones hurt. The emergency services are there and they are to the side of the road, but the road is relatively clear."
