Potters, painters and photographers are opening their doors again for the Deal Area Open Studios 2008.

Addresses in Sandwich, Worth, Eastry, St Margaret’s, West Langdon and Deal are included in the three weekends and there is no admission charges for visitors.

Ceramic artist David White said: “For the third year SEAS invite the public into their studios to meet the artists, look at their work and talk about art.

“This is a major local cultural event and everyone will be most welcome. Most items will be for a sale at the studios.”

SEAS (South East Artists) are organising the event to coincide with the Deal Festival of Music and the Arts.

Sculptors and makers of textile creations are also opening their studios and full details are included in a brochure, available from the tourist information bureau at the Landmark Centre, High Street, Deal.

The open weekends are on July 5 and 6, 12 and 13, and 19 and 20.
