Watch your drinks warning from safety team

Thousands of devices aimed at preventing drinks from being spiked in clubs and pubs are being distributed throughout Dover, Deal and Sandwich this week.
It’s part of the Dover District Community Safety Partnership Initiative to keep people safe during the festive celebrations.
Spikeys, as they are known, are plastic stoppers which are placed into bottles. This prevents any articles being placed into the drinks without the person knowing.
“With the party season underway this will hopefully give reassurance to partygoers who can enjoy themselves,” said PC Steve Alexander.
