Police arrested a woman in Dover on Friday night for threatening behaviour and possession of a knife.

Tanya Marie Palmer, 24, of Folkestone Road, Dover, was arrested in the Parade at the Western Docks and charged with possessing a knife in a public place and using threatening, abusive words and disorderly behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

She was remanded in custody and is due before Chatham Magistrates’ Court today.
