Appeal after woman in her 50s dies in collision with lorry on A258 Deal to Dover road

A woman in her 50s has died in a crash and police are appealing for witnesses.
The woman was riding a motorcycle on the A258 Deal to Dover road when it collided with a refuse lorry, at 7.10am today.
It happened near the junction with Pond Lane at St Margaret's at Cliffe.
Emergency services attended and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Now, investigators are keen to identify witnesses and obtain dashcam footage.
A spokesman said: "Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened, or has dashcam footage which may assist their enquiries."

The road remained closed for almost 12 hours, reopening by 6pm.
