A woman has been taken to hospital after a two car crash.

Police were informed of the collision on the A258 Deal Road near Westcliffe, between Dover and Deal, at 8.30am.

Officers attended alongside paramedics and the fire service, and a woman was taken to Victoria Hospital, in Deal.

The road was closed while the incident was responded to and reopened at around 10.45am.

South East Coast Ambulance service and fire service have been contacted for comment.
