Police are investigating after yobs threw a brick through a bus window in Deal.

“No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made at this stage. Enquiries are on-going.”

Matthew Maytum, communications officer for Stagecoach South East, said: “I can confirm that a route 13 bus travelling from Deal to Sandwich was hit by a heavy object as it passed by Sholden on Saturday evening. One window was shattered.

“Fortunately the driver had just made a drop off so there were no passengers on board the bus at the time. We’re working very closely with Kent Police who are treating the incident as criminal damage."
