Three people have been arrested in Dover in connection with a double murder investigation in Yorkshire.

Police were contacted early on Saturday after a 19-year-old woman at Gloster Way, Aycliffe, raised concerns for the safety of two women in Wakefield.

Officers attended at a flat in Barden Road, Wakefield, and found the bodies of two women.

The flat and the surrounding area were sealed off.

In Dover, a 19-year-old woman and two men aged 19 and 23, were arrested on suspicion of murder.

They are currently being questioned by detectives.
