Deal Town give McRobert his cards

MIDFIELDER Scott McRobert has been released by Deal Town manager Simon Bryant following his second red card of the season in Saturday's 2-2 Kent Premier League draw with Whitstable. McRobert was sent off for foul and abusive language as Deal, who also had wing back Jamie Marriott dismissed for the same offence, threw away a two-goal lead in the last 15 minutes.
Bryant, whose side would have gone second by beating Whitstable, said: "I have decided to release Scott after what happened on Saturday. He's a lovely lad and a good player, but he just can't control himself."
The Deal manager said that Marriott would be dropped to the reserves this weekend, adding: "I can't have two players letting the other nine down."
