GB fencing debut for McCarthy

KENT fencer Hayden McCarthy will make his Great Britain debut this weekend when he competes in an under-17 tournament in Godollo in Hungrary. The 16-year-old Canterbury College student who lives at Great Mongeham, neat Deal, will be fencing in the sabre competition.
McCarthy, a member of the King's Fencing Club in Canterbury, has also been selected to represent Britain in Germany next month.
