Dover Athletic manager Chris Kinnear keen to see Whites prove their Skrill South promotion credentials

With Dover Athletic safely through to the FA Cup first round, manager Chris Kinnear now wants his side to underline their Skrill South promotion credentials in the next two matches.
Whites’ trip to Basingstoke on Saturday will be followed by a rearranged clash with leaders Eastleigh at Crabble three days later.
With Dover currently just outside the play-off places in seventh position, Kinnear knows that any extension of his side’s eight-match unbeaten record will keep Whites in the play-off mix.
He said: “You never know what’s just around the corner in football but, at the moment, things are going our way and we’ve got to make the most of it.
“I thought we were excellent against Oxford (last Saturday) but Basingstoke are only just below us in the table and you would expect Eastleigh to be doing well because of the people they’ve brought in during the summer.”
Midfielder Ricky Modeste could be ruled out of the next two games with the hamstring injury which forced him to limp off just before half-time against Oxford City.
Kinnear added: “Ricky has been superb for us this season but that’s what you have a squad for and it means Liam Bellamy could now get his chance after recovering from injury.”
